These ADA sign instructions indicate the height and location requirements for Braille signage to permanently identify rooms and space.
Height
Braille signs should be mounted a minimum of 48" from the ground to the baseline of the lowest character and a maximum of 60" from the baseline of the highest character.
Location
Braille signs should be located on the side of the door with the handle. The sign should be 9" from the edge of the door frame to the center of the sign.
